Hello!
We're on an RV journey with no destination…yet. Pretty sure we’ll know when we find it. The ultimate plan is simply to search for land and build our dream home somewhere that better suits who we are today and what we envision for our futures. Los Angeles is no longer that place for a litany of reasons.
We sold our North Hollywood home to a lovely couple. We took all the necessary steps to pull the plug on life as we know it - notified USPS, banks, insurance, and much more. We crammed our scaled-back belongings and cars into overpriced storage units. We tightly hugged close family members and friends goodbye. We filled our new, used RV with all kinds of crap we think we'll need + loaded up with diesel. We're grateful for this opportunity to tearfully roll on out in Max (yes the RV has a name) and we cannot believe it's actually happening after months of planning and challenges to pull it all together.
I'm a SoCal native, and although I've traveled extensively around the world and lived in other states and cities, this move feels more permanent. It's exciting, sad, unpredictable, fortunate, etc. Every emotion, really. We're embracing this new chapter. And so…our "live in the moment" RV life adventure begins!
We're exploring the Pacific Coast Highway to spots in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington and through a bunch of random life stuff! We're logging our RV trek for fam and friends so we don't have to constantly update everyone via individual texts/emails. All are welcome to subscribe, though - hope you'll join us!
